Shamam's Macarons Poster for Starmus VI Festival
This poster was made for the Starmus VI Festival that happened in Armenia in 2022. The theme was space and the idea was to depict macarons in space, using a vintage vibe and textures.
The process. I started the sketch in procreate, then I moved on to create vector shapes in Illustrator. Using the round soft brush with dissolve mode I created shadows and highlights in Photoshop. And finally went back to procreate to add stars, finishing touches, and textures.
The coloring technique was inspired by wonderful @AnaMiminoshvili in her Domestika course. I always wanted to try a different approach to how I use Adobe resources and photoshop brushes and this commission was a wonderful opportunity for that.
