Print-ready illustrations for Arlem clothing brand.
I created a series of Qazaqstani-inspired artworks for a local clothing shop to promote their culture and inspire people to embrace national beauty in a modern way.
The series consists of 4 artworks - a modernized pattern "Oyu", the fun character "Beshbarmak", a design with apples "Almaty" and a camel pattern "Keruen".

Beshbarmak is a fun modern design inspired by the word pun - besh meaning good and barmak, which translates into the finger.

Oyu is a reinvented look at traditional Qazaqstani ornaments turned into a stylized pattern.

Almaty design is inspired by the city of Almaty which is known for its tasty apples

Keruen is a complicated pattern created for socks and tote bags. The word Keruen means caravan - which is a very common historical peculiarity for Qazaqstan
